Each Pedal Hard class is one hour of focused, coach supervised training. We custom tailor your workout to your current fitness level and future goals. Using metrics such as power, heart rate, and cadence, we can track your progress and ensure you are making the most efficient use of your training time.We also offer 1-on-1 sessions by appointment, group or club training, and longer endurance sessions.

At Pedal Hard Centers, we train on Computrainers which are known for their 2.5% accuracy; providing the consistency needed for progress. In addition to the metrics, Computrainers allow clients to ride our coach-designed courses, or use real-time GPS data that allows athletes to train on specific courses. Yes, please coordinate in advance with our staff so we can reserve a bike from the Mellow Johnny's rental fleet.
Bring your own lock to change in the lockers on the first floor.
Towels and showers are also available as a courtesy for a quick transition back to work or an evening in town.
Bring your bike. Don’t forget your cycling shoes and shorts. Or you can track your own data with a bike computer, heart rate monitor and rear wheel speed sensor.
When you come into the training center, our professional coaches will set your bike up on a trainer and get you going on a virtual road course. Pedal Hard is not a spin class. Our classes utilize a system of 5 power training zones personalized to each rider which help you build endurance, mid-range power, and maximum output. Once we establish your current fitness level, the coaches will give you a workout geared to you.
No problem! Pedal Hard classes are great for all levels of cyclists. Removing roads and traffic from the riding equation really helps you focus on your fitness.
Pedal Hard Classes on the schedule have a title and a few sentences describing what type of workout will be given during that class period. You will be prompted to purchase a single session, or a 10-pack. We recommend a 10-pack for all riders. After 10 classes of personalized training, you will begin to make tangible fitness gains.
